Internet Resources CH8

Helpful Links/ Internet Resources

The website that I was more drawn to was the TRICARE site, since my husband is in the military and that is the insurance we utilize. The other websites are just useful links that might help with any electronic claim. Hope it helps!

Claim form completion Instruction

The following website has useful information for completing a 1500 Claim Form. With a semi annual Taxonomy code set update, Annual release of the 1500 Instructional Manual, Resources with implementing a claim form and questions on Designated Standards Maintenance Organizations (DSMO) process, are a few helpful resources that this site offer.

American Medical Billing Association

American Medical Billing Association

I found the above link interesting for offering the only medical billing medical certification exam (CMRS). They are recognized nationally by billers, coders, employers, and other entities.

They also provide members with medical billing and related resources that enhance knowledge and skills. So if your starting out your journey in Medical Administration like Billing and Coding, this would be a helpful website to review and take advantage of.
